Kidz Power Pacs is a weekend, holiday break and summer feeding ministry for school aged children. KPP serves on average 900+ children / 39 schools in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties, West Virginia.

  • Professional counseling with a strength bases approach.

  • Community referrals for healthcare, housing, education, employment, legal assistance and related programs.

  • A small baby starter pack for moms who are at the end of their pregnancy and seeing a Birthright counselor.

 Birthright of Jefferson County is a nonprofit service providing free and confidential, professional counseling as well as practical assistance to mothers facing an untimely pregnancy, offering positive alternatives to abortion. We believe in the right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every child to be born.

Jefferson County Community Ministries, Inc. Also known as JCCM, is a cooperative ministry of local churches that assists people in need.  Assistance is provided on a limited scale for short-term emergencies in an effort to enable people to work out permanent solutions to meet their own needs.

Serve the City is a global movement of volunteers showing kindness in practical ways to people in need. We partner with homeless shelters, refugee centers, orphanages, and other associations, offering help and support. Serve the City creates events that mobilize many volunteers to serve in simple ways – sports, music, arts and crafts, meals, friendship and more.
We are the connection between the good intentions and talents
of people who could volunteer and a meaningful opportunity to get involved.


Young Life

  • Our mission statement: Introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

  • We do this by bridging the gap to kids, meeting them where they are, and loving them like Jesus does.

    You might see silly games, funny skits, leaders caring for students and sharing the love of Jesus with them.

  • We currently work with students at Shepherd University, Harpers Ferry Middle, Wildwood Middle, and Shepherdstown Middle School.

Young Life is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school, and college-aged kids in all 50 of the United States as well as more than 90 countries around the world.
