We are in our series “Things Jesus Never Said.” This series takes a look at common lifestyle slogans we see in our world today, even in the life of Christians, but misses the mark of what Jesus says. Once we understand how we misunderstand Jesus we will take a look at what he actually had to say.

In today's message Pastor Jake Cordell looks at the prayer life of Jesus. So often, as Christians, in our world today we either don't have time to pray or we use prayer as a way of saying no. Jesus never had to tell anyone, "I'll pray about it," because he was a man of prayer. We need to be people who are prepared for anything because we have spent time in prayer being prepared by God.
