Love In Action: Reaching People Through Service

Monday June 30th - Sunday July 13th
Celebrate your Serve Challenge on Sundays July 6th and 13th!

There will be a board in the Welcome Room where we can celebrate together all of the ways we were the church outside the walls of theBridge
through photos or a simple message on a sticky note.

Welcome to Serve Challenge!
At theBridge, we believe the church isn’t confined to four walls—it’s who we are wherever we go. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Serve Challenge, an opportunity for us to live out our faith in tangible ways and make a difference in the world around us.
Jesus came not to be served but to serve, and during the Serve Challenge, we’re inviting you to follow His example. Over the  two weeks, we’ll step outside our comfort zones and into our neighborhoods, workplaces, communities, and beyond. Together, we’ll show the love of Christ in practical, meaningful ways.
In the past, we’ve organized Serve Day and Serve Week, scheduling projects and assigning opportunities for everyone to come together and serve.
But this year, we want to take it a step further. Instead of us telling you how and where to serve, we’re inviting you to take the lead!
The Serve Challenge is about empowering you to pray, reflect, and act on how you feel led to serve—using your unique talents, passions, and creativity.

PRAY, PLAN, SERVE!

This is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves, step out of your comfort zone, and truly embody the love of Christ through intentional, hands-on service.
Gather with your family, small group, coworkers, or friends and pray about how God is leading you to serve. Then, plan two types of projects:
  1. Skill-Based Projects: Use the unique talents God has given you to meet a tangible need. Whether it’s organizing a neighborhood cleanup, repairing something for someone in need, or cooking meals for a struggling family, these projects require effort and heart—and they leave a lasting impact.
  2. Intentional Acts of Service: Use random acts of kindness to intentionally serve someone. Write an encouraging letter to someone who needs it, invest your time mentoring a child or teen, or visit someone who may feel lonely or forgotten.
We encourage you to think big, think boldly, and most importantly, think like Jesus! Serving isn’t just about doing good—it’s about making a meaningful connection that points others to Him. Let’s show our community what it looks like to live out the Gospel in real and powerful ways.
